I must admit, thankfully I stumbled across this verse and read it BEFORE my husband has a brawl (not that he ever has...I'm just saying IF...). Because IF he were ever to brawl with another man, and IF we were ever to find ourselves within the pages of biblical Israel, this little law would be a good one to know up front.

Deuteronomy 25:11 (The Message)

"When two men are in a fight

and the wife of the one man,

trying to rescue her husband,

grabs the genitals of the man hitting him,

you are to cut off her hand.
